As part of Nose-to-Tail fortnight, organised by Ethical Eats and Sustainweb, Blanch and Shock are cooking dinner for 24 guests at The Russet in Hackney Downs Studios. Their butcher recently found them a huge wild boar head, which they shall be breaking down and cooking into various courses of the dinner, along with some other less-used cuts. There will be snacks, and their homemade bread and butter.
Tickets are available here, and are hot property!
This is an amazing project to support…. with a stop off at The Russet for some Russet Apple Juice tasting alongside a sample of our own brewed Dalston Cola and Raw Fiyah Ginger Beer!
Come along and help plant out the Bluebells from Penny Rushby-Smith’s installation at WW Gallery, in their new home on Hackney Downs. Collect some bluebells from WW Gallery on Queensdown Rd at 11am, walk across the Downs and help plant out in the wildlife area below the Community Orchard. Or just turn up to the Downs and join in the fun.
Event has been approved by Hackney Parks.
Artist Elsa Godfrey will be bringing her Willow Ball for all to add to: http://landscapeofchange.wordpress.com/willow-ball-project/
BYO picnic.
Fear not, we are not closing, the apple we planted is just starting to bud.
It is just TV, or analogue television as we once knew it, that has sadly come to an end.
And what a party it was. Archie Sinclair, Max Dovey, Chris Lane, The Art of Dining and all of the Final Broadcast Collective, you are wonderful and shall never be forgotten, much like television.
