The Russet doesn’t need our recommendation, even though we’re wholeheartedly providing it.

Impressive venture!

A brilliant little gem. The clientele on a weekday lunchtime is trendy. Uber trendy. But I found out that The Russet is a refreshingly down-to-earth place.

This little place has a focus on seasonal,  local and fresh produce. And judging by how delish the food was, the formula works :)  The inside is furnished with untreated wooden tables and benches, great for groups.

Four of us had dinner here and it was superb. The service was a delight. We were never neglected, and the food was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is quite quirky and there are loads of things to look at if you take a wander.

This is a great place for brunch and a roast lunch. Great coffee, friendly and attentive service and child friendly.
